The resurfacing treatment takes place using pHformula A.C.N.E. solutions levels 1 to 3 which target the factors that trigger acne such as seborrhoea, hyperkeratinisation, microbial colonisation and inflammation. The success of the M.E.L.A. range is based on pHformula’s unique combination of Salicylic, Phytic, Mandelic, Azeloglycine and Lactobionic Acids plus the PH-DVC – a superior delivery complex used to facilitate the penetration of the active ingredients down to the basal layer of the epidermis where the melanocytes, the pigment forming cells are generated.
The unique pHformula M.E.L.A. powerclay levels1,2,3 formulations penetrate to the deep layers of the epidermis stimulating epidermal differentiation which leads to accelerated cell turnover causing the removal and reduction of already formed melanin pigment.
Significant visible reduction of UV induced hyperpigmentation and similar conditions. For optimum results 4 – 8 treatments are recommended depending on the type and depth of the pigmentation. Treatments are structured between 2 and 4 weeks apart depending on the M.E.L.A. level used. The C.R. Skin resurfacing system provides treatments for rosacea and acne rosacea without soreness or disruptive downtime. Erythematotelangiectic type rosacea (ETR) can be easily irritated and often stings or burns and is the most common type of rosacea featuring persistent skin redness of the nose or chin.
CR Skin Resurfacing treatment is active and effective for chronic redness and selected rosacea type of skin. It is specifically formulated with anti-microbial activity to help reduce redness and prevent relapses.

This is a non aggressive and multifunctional treatment previously not achieved with TCA. Due to its unique ability to control the depth of penetration the pHformula TCA Touch™ was specifically formulated as an advanced anti-ageing resurfacing treatment to help correct typical signs of photo-ageing. The TCA Touch™ solution is massaged gently into the skin post cleansing and priming. Following a second application the skin is then soothed with pHformula post procedure cream and protected with UV Protect SPF 50.
An instant lifting effect with intense stimulation of cell renewal that immediately reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Magnesium and Arbutin provide skin lightening properties and prevent the formation of melanin.
Face, neck, décolleté and hands each respond brilliantly to this treatment.
Photo-ageing such as glycation causing medium to fine lines and wrinkles, pigmentation and skin discolouration, acne prone skin and newly obtained scars are all suitable for treatment.

One to three treatments spaced four weeks apart is the recommended protocol depending on the outcome desired.
On review further treatments may be recommended if appropriate.
